She nodded and stepped out and stood slowly. She sighed and then walked out moving towards her mothers room. She didn't know what to expect. She knew that her Uncle must think the worse of her. She stopped at her mom's room and knocked. No one answered, so she opened the door. No one was there, she looked around then turned and headed into the main Chamber.

She finished with the pruning of her flower and placed the scissors down, heading to her bed. She sighed slightly, looking up, wondering where Arioch had gone. Though the day was beautiful, something gloomy seemed to have stir within her. She sighed and sat on a chair by the bureau, just in thought, when she heard a few footsteps coming towards her.

She saw her mother sitting at her bureau and sighed. She walked towards her then sat on the floor in frotn of her and bowed her head. "We must speak, Mother." She didn't look up but sat there staring at her hands that she was unable to kep still in her lap.

She turned and smiled widely, when she heard her Selde's voice. She looked at her, and then it changed to a frown. Something was wrong, and she could sense it. She looked at her with a wary eye, hoping everything was well. "What is it, dearest Selde?"

She still did not look up but spoke quickley, "I am the one you have been searching for. The leader of the Rouge elf group. Only it has gotten out of control." She looked up at her mother as tears streamed down her face, "I am so sorry, Mother. I never wanted it to go like this." She looked down again, afraid of what her mothers reaction would be.

She moved to hug her, but stopped in her tracks hearing her speak. She placed her hand over her mouth, surprised by this. "Why, Iaraya? Why would you not only endanger the lives of your fellow people, but yourself?" This was a blow she hadnt expected, and found herself crying.

She heard her mother crying and she slumped more, "I thought that if you saw what the elves were doing you would open the city. But you had no idea of them until the bombings and you had already opened the city. By that time they had gotten out of control. I thought I could stop them, but they didn't need me any longer." She looked at her mother, "I wish I could take it all back."

"You didnt need a rogue elf group to gain my attention. A valid argument and the opinions of our people would have sufficed. I am so disappointed in you Selde. How many times have I told you to think before you act and these are the consequences?" She sobbed silently watching her. "You've put me in a precarious situation. I am forced between taking my own daughters life or exiling you from these lands while taking your immortality."

She looked at her mother sadly, tears running down her face still, "You were never aroudn when I needed to speak. I thought it out and thought I had everything running as planned. But they got out of control. I have said this over and over, but I am sorry. I risked Uncle's life as well as everyone else caught in the bombing." She looked away, "Whatever you decide is what I deserve."

She turned her back to her. "There were ways of contacting me. But nothing will change the dangers you put yourself and others through." She wiped her tears, and looked at her. "I am most disappointed in you, Selde. If your father had life, I shudder to think how heartbroken he would have become over this. I must go and think before I speak to the high elves.." She looked at her daughter. "My love with never faulter towards you, Selde, not even after this piece of knowledge.' She sighed, and headed for the door.

She sighed and couldnt stop the tears that flowed freely and violently down her face. She stood and looked at her mothers back. She ran forward and hugged her tightly, "I shudder to think of what he would have said to me as well. I love you Nanus. Your decision will be just and I will deserve it." She released her mother then ran from the room, locking herself in her own.

She stopped, her eyes growing wide when she felt her daughters arm. She began to sob loudly, and looked around the room. She couldnt stay here another instance and left the room, going to whereever her feet and her thoughts would take her.
