Covered in two overgrown blankets, laying on the floor and she was hugged up against his naked chest, it would make anyone have a sudden influx of ideas. But given the situation it was oddly innocent. She took in a few sharp breaths, as the cold that had plagued her seem to subside. She gave a a nod to him, and closed her eyes, her arm neatly rested against his chest. "I'm Aelin Arkstone, by the way." The least she could do was introduce herself by name, especially after that kiss. So maybe it was true what they said about this forest. "Surprises at every turn." Yeah, that was for sure.

"Mhm" He registered her name so he wouldn't forget it and just kept as close as he could to her, wondering where in the world things like this could happen. He couldn't help but getting into trouble and wanting to be with pretty girls, especially one like this. His mother wasn't too approving, but if he came home alive, what was the big deal right? That made him smile a bit and he suddenly missed his mother very much. But now he was hungry and just moved a little bit. "Hungry..." He touched his mouth and his stomach growled. Whatever she had, he would eat without question. Sitting up, he just coughed up a bit of water and started untangling some of his hair.

Pulling away, she pulled off the blanket and put it around him. "I'll get you something." She had to clear her throat a moment because it felt like something was lodged into it and she went on her merry way towards the kitchen. It was small, had a little pantry and a small fridge, but it was good enough to store food for one person, IE her. She opened the door and startd to dig around. Good thing she cooked yesterday. She felt around for anything that was edible and came out holding a tray of some sandwiches. Well it was better than anything, and she always got lazy. She even made sure it stayed 'forever' fresh. She pulled out a bottle of apple juice, picked up two cups, placed them on the tray and then came out with them. She moved over to him and laid it down in front of him. "Go on eat. You need it."

Immediately he split it in half and gave her one more than he had. Very bad habit. Maybe the only King that had less of a problem splitting his food with someone. Grandpa Hannibal really seemed depressed when giving food to Sirius, since he knew the boy had the same appetite as he did. But this wasn't his food to hand out, so Sirius gave her more of it and shoved the first sandwich into his mouth, drowning it down with apple juice and smiled, thanking her with a nod as he continued to eat like a savage. Crumbs, sauce, juice all over his face, just like when he was a little boy. Old habits die hard.

She laughed a bit and took a piece of the sanwich chewing on it slowly. "Eat as much as you want." The tray was filled so she didnt really mind if he ate it all. He seemed to be hungry too. She poured herself some juice and took a drink. He was part Drow, she could feel that. She hadn't seen many of her people. He was the first with any tinge of it in sometime. She looked upward towards one of the windows and saw that the while still raining it wasnt as bad as before, thank goodness. She stood, and then walked back into her room. Coming out a few minutes later she held a shirt and some dry long pants and laid it infront of him. Clothes of an old friend that would probably do him the most good.

Looking over at her, he took the clothes and made a face. Sniffing them for a minute, he just looked up at her. The scent was familiar. He recognized it. But who could possibly have been all the way over here. The smell was fading and unlike his father, the senses weren't fully perfected yet, but he knew he'd smell this somewhere. "Who...?" He held up the clothes and tossed them towards her. He wasn't putting them on yet till he knew and till he finished eating. Grabbing another sandwich, he just waited for her answer.

She sat back down, placing her feet under her Indian style again. She took a piece of sandwich and bit into it while turning her head to him. "The clothes? Well they belonged to a man who saved me...." She sighed. What had ever happened to him? It all happened so fast. She was in danger, he'd come to the rescue, they let their hormones talk and then she was forced to leave. He had been a sweet person. Even staying with her after the initial shock. She'd left and realized afterwards that someone had placed his clothes on her bag, but she kept them. It gave her a memory, especially after what happened in due time.

"Oh." He took them back and just looked at the pants, took huge whiffs of them. Somewhere he'd smelled this before. Chicken.....not just any chicken....chicken on a stick. Granpda? Impossible. He continued to run his nose down each leg and eyed her. It must look weird but he didn't care. Putting them down, he went to the shirt and smelled the armpit area. Always the strongest scent of a person, their sweat glands. Taking a smell of that, he just smelled his own and thought a bit, looked up at her and then smelled the clothes again. "These are....mine..." He touched them softly. He didn't recognize them, had more than his share of these kinds of clothes.

"Yours?" She eyed him curiously and frowned. No way, it couldnt have been the same person could it? But if he couldnt mistake his own scent now could he. She sighed a bit. She was trying to think back on that day. Remember something concrete and then she thought about something. "...Do you have a scar on the back of your ear because of horses hoff?" She eyed him, awaiting his answer. If he was truly who she thought he was then he had quite a surprise waiting for him. Bah, how was she going to tell him, assuming it were true.

No way she could know about that. When he was several years younger, he'd been with the horses and annoyed one quite badly. Hoof to the back of his head. He'd been out for a few days. Of course the horses weren't blamed. He was, once he was better, but yeah, he had a scar there. Getting up very slowly, he just put the clothes over his shoulder and turned, moving his hair just enough and showed her the back of his ear. "There...who...and why?" He had NO recollection of her at all for some reason. Definitely not her name. He knew names like he knew his own name, but didn't even recognize her for some reason. Maybe when he was younger, or the injuries he'd had over the years were definitely more than just minor. If that was the case, he had to be careful with injuries to his head.

So it was him. She eyed the scar that he'd shown her when they were talking. It had been a pretty gruesome story which was why she remembered it so vividly. "It was a few years back. I was around 17, and I was almost trampled by a group of militants. One of them was passing by with a carriage and my fot got caught in a treeroot. I was about to be trampled to my death when someone came out of the blue and pulled me out of the way...." She looked up at him. "After everything was said and done, he told me a few stories about himself before I was forced to leave." She sighed. "I never saw him again after that..." She bit her lip, he didnt even remember her, which was understandable.

"Trampled...." he scratched his head and tried to think back in his life and then after awhile, he just snapped his fingers. It was coming back to him. The yelling at the militants and moving off from them to make sure he helped her. "Fireball?" She didn't know that, he'd called her that for his own reference since he didn't know her name. He'd spent what felt like so much time talking to her about all kinds of things and then she had left without much notice. He'd missed her for over a week. Stood in his room too, didn't come out. The color red still gave him a bit of a problem sometimes since it'd reminded him of a girl who had forced her way into his personal life and had managed to learn all his dreams for the future, his fears, his likes and dislikes, and they'd barely known each other back then. Somehow she had got his clothes. "I remember."

She nodded. "Yeah. You called me Fireball." She laughed a bit. " And I called you stinky jokingly. She smiled softly. "So your real name is Sirius then? Strange, you save me and now I save you. I say we're even now." She looked down and took a sip of the juice. Wow life had a way to do things didnt it. Turning her body, she faced him, just taking a good look at his face. "I always hoped to see you again. Just not like this...but I'm glad you're alright." She inhaled sharply. "I never stopped thinking about what may have happened to you...especially not since..." She sighed a bit. "...The night we shared together...well...it didn't go without 'consequences'..."

He noded and smiled as he listened to her. Moving a bit away from her he looked around at the house since he had a bit more energy than he had before. The food had been a lifesaver and he wasn't sure why. But he was gratfeul anyway. "Yeah, well...the consequence was that I missed you something terrible Aelin. Beautiful name by the way, but I locked myself up in the room and missed for quite some time actually. Of course there were consequences. We really got to know one another during the time we spent together for such a short time span." He put his clothes down. He was filthy. He wasn't putting on clean clothes until he had a shower.

"I missed you too...I didnt want to leave so quickly but my 'troupe' was leaving and my mother forced me to go. I wanted to write more to you in that good bye letter, but I couldnt." She eyed him. I'm sorry." There was the hint of a smile on her face but it faded. "There were more consequences than that." Her tone and stare had turned serious. "There's no right way to say this. But...Sirius...you have a son..." There we go. It was out. Out of her mouth and now she waited for his reaction. Hopefully it wasnt as hysterical as how she ended up turning. But she was barely 18 at that moment and scared so of course she was going to lose it.
