Well, falling down the Pit was actually a GOOD thing. Well, not really. Yes, no, okay, let's take this one step at a time. A fight with demons, jumping into the Pit and falling until he was here, in a forest, that WOULDN'T STOP RAINING. Soaked down to his very core, he just walked around with a bland look on his face. The rain was extremely cold and it never stopped. It just changed size and ferocity. Several times he'd miscalculated and fell into deep pools of water thinking they were just muddy ground. Continuing on in this fashion, he had left his shirt and pants behind, they made him colder and weighed him down. Clad only in some linen shorts, his weapons tied around his waist, a crossbow slung across his chest and bo staff across his back, he was ready for just about anything and that is exactly what happened. Several demons, who were an odd blue color surrounded him a lot faster than he had thought they would. Flicking the side of his nose a few times, he just grinned. "Right. Come on." Pulling the crossbow from his chest, he sent several arrows flying at the first one and grinned. Right on target. It screamed loudly and it was deafening. The other two took cue and just went at him with everything they had, sending bursts of water at him from all directions. Rolling one way or another, he pushed the crossbow back onto his chest and just grabbed at his bo staff. This would have to be close quartered combat. Nothing he wasn't ready for. The two demons split and he went for the smaller one first and swung the staff across in a hacking like motion. The staff missed and he went back again, felt the demon kick him in the back and growled. Thrusting the staff into the ground, he spun around it and slammed the front of his left foot against the heel of his right boot and watched as a dagger shot from the front of it, and he hit the demon right in the throat. No time to make sure he was gone, he wasn't chasing him so that was usually a sign they were dead. "Right, one more." He just ran as fast as he could and realized quickly that this was the experienced of the trio as the demon spun around in what he would later admit were very intricate spins and flips. It threw him off, just enough for the demon to slam his hand against his chest. The blow alone was nothing, but what the demon had done to him was far, far worse. In a suddent burst of cold, his lungs worked overtime as it felt as if his veins were carrying ice cold water. His heart ached in pain and he just collapsed to his knees. Seeing the demon, he just tossed a dagger blindly and heard some form of scream. Whether his own voice or the demons, he wouldn't know, because as soon as he sent the dagger from his hands, he collapsed into the mud, the rain still going as strong as ever.

The long white cloak laid drenched on her body. The eternal forest of rain. A place delved in horror and mystery for those who were new to the area. Hell, those who were afraid of a little water. But 'little' was an understatement. It was an eternal shower whose ferocity varied each day by some unknown forces. Today was the worst of it. Even by her standards and she traveled through this forest more times than someone would care to admit. It had become a second home, even learning how to construct a home that was impervious to the water damage, but magic was to thank for that. This was not her permanent home. But it was a good place to come when she needed to train uninterrupted or just needed to get away from people's idiocies. She knew this forest like woodwork, at least, the path to her surrogate home. Her deep red hair laid everywhere on her face, and on her cloak seeming like long strands of blood, since the cloak was such a pure white. She came to a sudden halt when she heard the dystinct sounds of fighting right to where she was headed too. Who was actually crazy enough to go this deep into this forest? She moved forth with cautious steps. Coming into the area when the fighting seemed to stop but there wasnt anyone in her current peripheral. Moving forward, she took a few steps before stopping. There was a body on the ground. One of the combatants, no doubt. Bending down, she quickly moved to take his pulse, he was alive, good. To leave or not to leave. She stood, and then put a step forward but stopped. She couldnt just leave him out here with the rain pounding down like this. She turned and bent down once again atop his body. "Can you move?"

The cold in his chest was terrible and he grabbed tightly onto whoever was grabbing him. He was NOT going to die in this terrible place, soaked like a cat. Then he heard what she said and realized she wanted to help him. Thank god. He tried to talk, nothing. He could barely breathe and then he managed to croak out. "I...try..." He put his hands out above him for her to grab. She'd have to do most of the work. He could barely see, his chest was freezing and he had no shirt on, just some of those linen shorts, and they were useless, drenched all the way through, his body and hair covered in mud. His body was getting weak, but he still would try. Surival. Most important. If he didn't get home eventually, his mother would kill him. Maybe he was better off just dying. That made him laugh, but he couldn't laugh, the chill in his lungs was too much and he began coughing violently. Whatever this woman was going to do, she better do it fast.

He was alive and able to move good. She was pulled down and waited for his answer. It was always best to make sure. She heard him and then quickly made a grab for his arms, placing one around her shoulders, and she moved to stand up again. He was pretty heavy but she could handle him. She clenched her teeth and tugged at them both to stand completely, while her other arm moved to grab a steady hold of him. "Stay with me." And she started moving forward. This would be tough but she had to make it. He wasnt well, and she could feel some of his life slipping away. Calling forth her strength she moved towards her home. He needed help and he needed it as soon as possible. She only hoped she could make it all the way to the house.

He felt even more pain when she pulled him upward. His lungs needed even more air and it felt like an icicle was piercing his heart. Those demons were something else, that was definitely true, but he needed to get some last words out just in case. Leaning against her, he just mentally apologized for being so sloppy as he slid across the muddy ground in this particular area."King....Tower....parents...love them....Sirius..." He was delirious and just nodded. "Dying..." He clung onto her and just managed a grip on her fully. Images of everything in his head going by. Childhood, growing up, his girlfriends. Somehow pulling her over, he gave her a sloppy kiss against the lips and dragged his own lips across her cheek, coughing up blood and groaning. "Love you..." At this point he had no clue who he was talking to and then went silent, walking slowly, painfully, no clue where he was going. Where he was, and why the pain was still continuing.

What the hell? She felt herself lose grip of him so suddenly and then part of his body slid. His legs slid on the mud and she quickly tried to stand him straight again, but it was as if something had given. "That's your home then, Sirius....?" It was more of a statement than a question. "Look, you're not dying, alright? But I need you..." She took in a breath and tried to heave him up before she felt his lips on her. Well this was odd a dying man who gave her a kiss, that was still pretty given his state. "...stay with me." She took a look around. Think quick, Aelin. There had to be a way to get to the house quickly. Sighing, she had little options. She would have to take the brunt of everything because this guy was losing it. She started to move faster, almost dragging him with her. The house wasnt that far away, was it? She could kill whoever did this but by the looks of things it seemed he had beaten her to it. And then she heard it, the sounds of water rushing their way. It did that every once and again. And she could use it to their advantage, like a wave. She quickly threw them both on the ground, and then came right behind him and put her arms around his stomach. "Hold on tight." She closed her eyes, and willed all the leaves around the area to come behind her and infront of him, as the sound of the water came closer. She made sure she had a good grip on him, and held him almost like a protective mother would hold a child but she wasnt going to have a dead body anywhere near her. Finally, she felt something very cold strike her back and then they were sent 'flying' through the area as the leaves remained in place to try and stop the force of the water. Her head came right behind his neck and she whispered to him. "You're going to live, but you have to stay with me.."

The water was cold and he was trying to breathe and this was horrible. He just stood quiet, wondering when this would all be over. Death or this woman. Whatever was happening needed to happen already. He could wait no longer as he tried to suck lungfuls of air to no avail. Puking up water, he just continued in this fashion for some time, just holding to her, nails digging into her arm. And then, in something Sirius never did, he practically began begging her."Please...don't let...me die...please..." Not now. Now when he wanted to do things in his life, when he wanted to help with his baby cousins and nieces and nephews. Not now. He passed out though, hoping he'd awake and find out what the answer was.

She winced but held steadfast. Several long minutes later this horrific 'ride' had ended and she was sent only a few feet from her home that was held in hiding amongst some trees. She nodded, and loosen her hold on him. "You wont die, alright?" She frowned, she couldnt even fathom what thoughts must have been going through his head but she wouldnt let him die, she couldnt. She stood and whimpered softly, her back felt raw, but she couldnt expect much after a ton of water just hit her. She pulled him up to his feet and then started on a limp towards the trees that held the home in hiding. She felt like she was dragging him some of the way but she just wanted to get them into the warmth inside the house. After several eternal minutes, they were within inches of the home. She mumbled something under her breath and the door swung open in a hurry. The water began to pour down harder than before and she went into a run, dragging him until they were inside the house and the door swung close once again and she collapsed on her butt breathign heavily.

Feeling something hit him, he just closed his eyes shut and started shivering. He was cold. Needed something, needed help. Unable to tell where he was, he just laid there, useless. Wishing he could be more help to himself he crawled on his hands and knees, slowly though and began a blind search for where he wanted to go. Bed. Warm bed. He needed that and something to eat. Something to cure this raging cold he had in his chest, making him weak in all of his muscles, but he pushed onward, hitting a door and just sighing, moaning, groaning. No way in, he couldn't lift his hand that far in fear of collapsing. He'd stay like this. It was easiest.

She needed a few seconds to catch her breath and then she pulled her cloak off and threw it on the floor. Her blackish top showing off the enlarged chest that she carried on her. She started for a slow walk and moved to the bedroom just a few paces away. She walked right on in and then pulled out two blankets and two towels, one for him and one for her. She made it back to him, and dropped everything next to him and immediately ripped off the shirt on him. And started to dry him off. Him first and then her. She needed to get him warmed up. She was shivering but she would deal. She rubbed the towel all over his chest, face, hair. He was a good-looking guy. Get your mind out of the gutter, Aelin. She extended her arm to her side and then sat him up, against her, so she was behind him again and wrapped the blanket around him. Rubbing his arms softly.

He felt someone handling him but it felt good, and there was warmth. Wonderful warmth. He turned around to whoever it was and just pulled them roughly against his body and shivered uncontrollably, just trying to warm up the best he could. Moving his arms along her back, he just rested his head in the crook of her neck and coughed softly. "Chest...pain....cold....breathe..." He shook his head and just kept clinging to her as if his life depended on it. It sort of did. "Don't....let....go..." his teeth chattered and he tried to stop his spasms of shivers. Taking her hands, he put them on his freezing chest and directed her in circular motions as to distribute the heat evenly.

This was becoming more and more suggestive by the moment, she thought nonchalantly. Her legs came to either side of him, and she held him there. She was cold still but was getting warmed up enough thanks to this sudden heat from both their bodies. She extended her arm and grabbed the over blanket wrapping both herself but also giving him an extra bit of warmth. "I wont, I promise." Her slightly scratchy voice. "Breath softly....through your mouth. You cant gasp so quickly, you might hurt yourself even more." She laid against him, her fingers slightly pressing against his chest. Her body had began to shake a little but she was no longer sure if it was out of the cold or because of what was happening. People had a strange way of coping when their lives depended on it. "How did you get here?" She shifted her head and looked at him head on, some of her hair sticking to her face.

"Pit..." Last thing on his mind. He did as she had advised him to do and still found it hard to breathe. Laying down he just pulled her with him and wrapped his arms all the way around her, warming up as best as he could. Then, in a matter of seconds, that sometimes random, horrid, stinky, crazy, wonderful, confusing King gene decided to make itself present. It snapped inside of him, the reason he got yelled at, why his mother told him he still had things to learn. Well, this would be a learning experience in some type of way. Looking right at the girl, he just pressed his lips against her and kissed her roughly. For warmth? Yeah sure, but he also wanted to kiss her, he felt something from her, and felt he was in the clear to kiss her, so that's what he was doing.

She just eyed him weird. Pit? How could a pit take you anywhere let alone here. But she just nodded and planned on asking for a further explanation later on. Laying down with him, she looked at him silently for awhile. He was an odd one. Given what he had kept doing he should have been dead, but he was coming back to life and pretty fast too. She pulled her finger up and ran her finger along a scar, before the sudden kiss. Her impulse was to move pull away. But for a man that was 'dying' he kissed wonderfully. And it felt like ages since she kissed a guy. Her arms came fully around him. And returned the sudden kiss. This was only for survival purposes. The warmth of the body as well as the lips. Keep telling yourself that, Aelin.

That confirmed everything that he needed to know. Still weak, he could manage kissing and so that's what he was doing. Moving to rub her back, he just started sucking on the flesh of her neck and son was short of breath. Laying back, he smiled. If he dided, it would be worth it. He'd kissed such a beautiful creature but yawned, laying beside her and just smiled, still shivering but feeling better than he had outside in that rain. "Thank....you..." He kept his body as close as he could though because they were both cold and shivering, so they weren't going anywhere anytime soon. Fine with him. She calmed him down and that's what he needed.
