"Be quiet Adlan. I've got more than enough money. Besides, the sword won't cost me that much, seeing as I might give them some of my potions. They'll never be able to copy them, but if they have one and know what it does, I think that will keep them content enough. Now go and get the sword while I go look around for myself. Never too old to want a weapon." He was located in an underground shop where there were numerous weapons of long ago, many found from those lost in battle, containing ancient magic in them.

"I just want to make sure. It's an expensive sword. I couldn't even sell my soul for this thing." He laughed and just disappeared into dimly lit branches of the underground shop. Soon he was back, a very long and thin sword in an emerald case. Smiling, Adlan pulled the sword out by it's handle and in the cave it was hard to make out the blade.

"That's..." Alder shook his head. "I should have known. Demon child and all. It's natural you're drawn to such a thing. Even I can feel it's pull to wield it. I'm surprised you didn't just steal it." He looked at the owner and nodded to the sword, heard the price and his jaw dropped. "Well, come to the back with me please, we'll arrange a bargain." The owner nodded and Alder disappeared behind a curtain with him.

"Sword of Darkness. There aren't many left of these and I just couldn't pass up the opportunity." He swung the sword and it was trailed faintly by what else? Darkness. The entire blade was cloaked in a deep black shadow. The sword felt strong in Adlan's grip and he felt good with it. "Who better than Uncle Alder to let me get something I shouldn't have." He smirked and watched his Uncle disappear with the store owner.

After about an hour, Alder finally managed to trade all the money in his pouch, the potion, and one of his daggers for the sword. He had used his power as death to sway the decision a little bit, but hey, you had to do what you had to do right? He couldn't very well disappoint his nephew right? Of course now. Walking back out, he gave Adlan a smile and just nodded.

Adlan grinned. "Thank you, thank you, thank you." He laughed some and then sheathed the sword. "Come on, I want to see this baby in action." He leapt forward and grabbed onto his uncle's shirt, fading away with him so he could go and practice with his brand new sword.
