"Well yes, there are some reformed demons, but they're all still evil in nature, it just takes longer to shine out there for the world to see." He smiled. "Some of my closest demonic friends are those. I simply make deals and care only for myself." Loth pushed his legs out as far as they would go in front of him.

"Does it really matter if the world sees it though? If you know you've changed for what's best for you, isn't it what matters? If you do good and you know it's what's important if the world chooses to believe otherwise that's their problem." Isbeth nodded. "What about you? Are you a reformed demon or have you always been as such?"

"Well that man didn't die for no reason. So that's as reformed as I am. There are other demons who simply kill for sport. I tend to kill for reasons, or if there's something I really, really want. Usually though, someone doesn't come through on their bargaining." Loth shrugged. "And what type of punishment have you given?"

"I beat down a couple of Angels when they attacked me. Does that count? Of course my biggest mistake was letting them live because they'll come after me but it won't happen again." Isbeth nodded. "Other than that not much. I was an Angel of Wisdom. So you don't met out a lot of punishment just help those in their endeavors through life."

"Oh, so you're one of the boring angels. No offense. Just...some of you have amazing abilities. Yours is wisdom, so excuse me for not seeing the awesome in that. Suppose I need wisdom to see, yes?" Loth chuckled and watched as his hellhounds showed up, sniffing this newcomer in silence. They knew not to mess with her. One, because Loth was speaking to her first, and because she would also put up a fight. They sensed that.

Isbeth watched as the hounds came within the vicinity and she just eyed them. She extended her hand to one of them who sniffed for a few seconds and then just gazed at her before licking at a finger and then sitting close to Loth. "Yes, well wisdom is important... when you're old as dirt." She snickered and shrugged. "I may have dealt with wisdom but it doesn't mean I don't have any particularly useful skills. That was my primary task, my secondary was knowledge and through that knowledge I came across a lot of ancient magick scrolls and I learnt a fair bit. I can wield elemental, draconic, dream weaver, fae, and a few others. I was trying to decipher Demonic magick but it's difficult especially for someone like me."

"Oh we made sure to corner that market a long, long, time ago. There must be certain intents and a number of other things involved for Demonic abilities. It's why those who are mixed never fully master the things we can do. They travel slower than those who are pure. Fae is an easy magic, though I don't think we can learn any of it. Long story, from a long time ago. Faes and demons becoming quite set in their ways."

"I figured as much. It's why I gave up on trying to learn it. Perhaps one day I will try again when I'm free to do so." Isbeth looked out into the rolling waters. "Maybe you'll tell me the story one day. My knowledge of demonic/ fae relations is quite limited." She smiled softly and then shifted her gaze to watch from the corner of her eyes for a few moments. She heard the sound of wings in the distance. They were upon her and she could feel their intents from miles away. She made to say something to Loth when she heard as a volley of Angelic arrows whizzed in the air at amazing speeds.
Isbeth quickly jumped onto Loth to lower him so that the arrows missed although she knew he could take care of himself. She gave the demon a soft smile before rolling off of him and getting to her feet. In a millisecond of a moment a dozen angels descended upon them. Isbeth unsheathed twin daggers from their holsters at her side and in one fell swoop her teal colored wings spread apart, shimmering in the suns rays. If nothing else she was efficient as she moved towards the first angel. She knew in that instance that her life would change.
Isbeth's wrist twisted as she went after the first angel. It was now or never. The angel sent his sword right towards her midsection and she twisted to avoid the blow. She rose her hand and aimed for the angels jugular lunging the blade deep into it and sliding it across his flesh. Crimson liquid spewed from his neck and he fell to the ground quickly. She made a 360 turn and went for the next assailant this time going for their midsection. She had crossed the point of no return and now, truly, she had committed the ultimate sin and knew that whether it was today, tomorrow, or months from now nothing could change the course her life had headed to. She was a Fallen now and she knew it.

Aeraloth watched and chuckled as Isbeth fought her own kind to the death and she was doing quite well, so he took advantage of the angels focusing all their strength on her and was taking from those who had fallen to their death. A bow here, an arrow there, a few swords and daggers. People would do a lot for items like this.
Aeraloth handed them to his hellhounds, watching them run off with the items and disappearing into the shadows of the forest surrounding Bloodran. It was always interesting watching Angels bleed. It seems as if the ground soaked it up like water.

Her arm twisted and she sent a dagger upward right into the skull of one of her hunters. Before long nothing of the assailants was left save their battered and lifeless corpses. When the dust had settled Isbeth stood breathing heavily and looking all around her. She closed her eyes and quickly sheathed her daggers just looking at the carnage she had left behind. It wasn't by choice though it was all by necessity and in the end she regretted nothing. She looked at some of the faces of those who had been comrades and thought of performing some last rites and then remembered that they had been sent here to kill her.
She turned to Loth suddenly reminded of him. She knew he could handle himself but she still worried. For all intents and purposes he was the first acquaintance, perhaps friend, she had made in all her years and she wanted to be sure he was alright. She turned to see him not too far off and hurried to him. He seemed fine which was a good thing.
"Think I'm a little closer to being able to learn demonic magic now that I'm a Fallen?" She smiled softly although she didn't feel at all joyous. "I'm glad you're alright, Loth."

"That's it? No lights? No fancy magic? Just Fallen? Just like that?" Aeraloth made a face. "No offense to you and what you just had to do, but that's a boring way to fall from grace if you ask me. No pain, not a single impalement. You still look just as you did before you sent blades into the nostrils of your fellow angels." Aeraloth shrugged.
"You guys sure know how to make a party into a boring pile of rubbish."

She couldn't help it but she managed to laugh. She shook her head and just let a smile spread across her face. "If that were the case I'd have to agree with you. But I haven't officially fallen yet. A transformation takes place. It will happen except I've no idea when. And instead of referring to myself as something I no longer am after committing the ultimate sin, I may as well start referring to myself to what I'll become. Does that make sense?" She made a slight face. "If you really want to see it I'll seek you out so you can see it for yourself." She shrugged.

"Do you guys get uglier? Anything? Do you know? Have you seen one, because I've never seen one and they look the same to me." Aeraloth shrugged his shoulders. "I had my friends take a lot of the items left behind."

"They won't need it so I doubt that they'd mind." She nodded some before shaking her head. "No not that I know of. I've met two Fallens and both retained their looks. Other than that I never questioned on how they changed after they Fall. Either way I'll find out soon enough." She touched her arm realizing that one of the angels had gotten a hit on her but nothing compared to she did to them.

"That sucks. I hope it's gruesome and painful, because I think if something as huge as an Angel was falling from grace, it would be painful. That would make sense to me anyway. Or there's always the fact that we're apparently not that far from fallens ourselves, but I don't believe that." He shrugged.
