Isbeth sat and waited patiently just eyeing each stone in turn. Each one spoke of something different, of a time long past and she was enjoying this communication with them. They were whimsical and had quite a bit of insight on many things. She smiled at something and the nturned when she heard Arilios close by. She stood and wandered over to him nodding. "It was a dangerous little bugger and I couldn't let you fight it off alone. These stones are tricky. They just told me that they chose this form for the guardian because they knew it would throw people off. I guess they were right." She shrugged and then just grinned.
"My offer still stands if you choose to take it. I love happy endings."

"Well yes. These stones are very old, and very arrogant as well if you let them get that way." He stared at them in silence. "I'll destroy them some day, but that day isn't today. And yes, you can help me if you like. It will be nice to have someone accompany me for a change."

"Too old if you ask me. They kept mentioning their connection to some fortress around this area." She shrugged. "I have no idea why." She stared for a few moments and nodded. "I have to agree with you on that. I should warn you though before anything that I'm being chased by a bunch of Angelic Bounty Hunters. I can take care of them but I thought you should know so you won't be surprised."

"Well yes because the fortress is quite old and important itself. Everything around here is connected in some way." Ari shrugged his shoulders. "And that's fine. They're you're problem. I can handle them if they attack me, but if they're only attacking you, that's fine."

"Then I've nothing more to say on that matter." She fixed the strap of her bag and stared at him. "What now then? I'm ready when you are however long that may be."

Arilios nodded. "Let's just make a stop or two. Family and my own place around here that I have some weapons stored at. Then we can go on the search for my kid."

"That's fine with me. I can make a brief pit stop too." She sighed inwardly hoping that Yarizel or Farinele were around she knew they were the ones who could help her with this and she rather that the scroll was nicely tucked away with one of them while she helped out Arilios with his search. She eyed the demon for a few second and started forward. "I'll meet you at the edge of town, Arilios. That should give us enough time to tie up any loose ends."

"I'll see you on the edge of town then. Shouldn't take too long. Just a few minutes tops." He shrugged and made sure he had everything on his person. Once he had everything checked, Arilios simply ran off in the direction of Van's place.
