They shrieked in pain, as the sword sid through them like a hot knife through butter. Most were dead now, choking in their own disusting blood, while others lay on the ground, begging for mercy. She was nowhere to be found though. She'd escaped the scene she'd created and was leaning behind a tree clutching the side of her stomach. There was a deep gash on it. She hadnt been able to escape the trap set for her. She had been surrounded and though she managed to kill them all, they had cut her, and she lay there, holding her stomach, as the poison from the blade coursed through he blood. She ripped a part of her torn shirt and cleaned the wound. She knew she needed to heal it soon, or she'd surely died. She cursed herself, thinking she was foolish to have fell for something like that.

He had watched her walking along for some time and ran back to Aleister's now back again, some potions from his old friend in a pouch on his waist."Sareanna..." He walked towards her and knelt, eyeing the wound she had received. "I told you there was no perfection in you yet. You must have done something very stupid for that to have happened." He went silent after that, staring at her on the floor.

"I must have taken a wrong turn." Jon Fotheringown muttered quietly and with the slightest hint of worry as he consulted the whirring instrument in his hand. "There's something affecting the lodestone in this. It's never happened before." He rubbed the back of his neck.
"Good heavens!" He cried out as he continued walking along, seeing the woman on the ground and rushed over. "Do you need any help?"

She's looked at Ather, shrugging her shoulders, as she shooed him away, "I dont need this from you, Ather." She waved her hands. "Just go and let me die. Or better yet, why dont you just do your kind a favor and kill me." She moved her hand from her stomach and hissed in pain. Then noticed another person coming buy. A strange looking man, who ran over to her. "Hello, friend..." That's all she could muster as the poison slowly started to take over her. She knew she had to either risk showing a part of her true self to Ather and this stranger, accept Ather's helps, or die. And she didnt know which to choose.

"very well then Sareanna, I won't help you with these potions." He got up and looked at the other man with a frown. "Whoever you are, you're probably better off leaving this stubborn one here. She and I aren't worth much of your time." He looked the man over once again, seeing not much harm in him and then glanced back to Sareanna."Take it or leave it. You know I have no qualms about leaving you right now."

Jon frowned and rubbed his chin, then placed his hands in his coat pockets. "I can help, you know. There's no shame in swallowing your pride to accept help. Nor will I ever tell anyone else." He then turned. "And as for you, sir, if you truly care for her as much as I believe you do, then you wouldn't be so callous as to leave her in this state."

She tried to stand, and using all her strength she did so. She began to shake, and her body swayed about, she was losing her balance. But before she fell she grabbed onto Ather, holding onto his shoulders, unexpectedly to hold on, and looked to the man, whom she assumed was human. "Can you, sir? Do you think you can help me gain my pride back?" She turned to Ather, wondering why he was still making her feel mixed emotions deep within herself. She whispered into Ather's ear. "How did you find me?.." She struggled to keep her balance.

"Don't worry about that Sareanna." He held her up and then grabbed the pouch."These are from Aleister. He said they could help, but if you want help from him, so be it." He made sure she stood balanced and managed to make it so she could lean on his back, and not hold on to anything to stand.

"Pride is something in your mind and you should never feel it. It has led to the downfall of far too many people. That and arrogance, at least." Jon said just a bit too harshly. "There's nothing wrong with good old fashioned humility. Do you want my help or not?"

She chuckled softy, looking at the man. "It's a pity not everyone shares your reasoning, sir." She held onto Ather tightly, gripping onto him, as she felt her body sliding slightly. "I'm dying, there is no doubt. I can feel my skin growing colder, and my lips they are so dry. I will swllow my pride, and accept help from both of you, though I question why the need to help a creature like myself?..."

"Just be quiet Sareanna." He pulled out a single potion, opening it, putting it to her mouth and tilting it."Drink it, and it'll ease the pain while this man does whatever he is to do for you, though I don't see what he CAN do. But there are surprises all the time in this place." He watched silently as a raven flew by them and remembered he had to be somewhere.

"Yes, be quiet and rest." He pulled out a small stone phial and sniffed. "Yes, that should be it. Drink this, it should cure you. You've got class symptoms of poisoning. I'm Jon Fotheringown, by the way."

She stared at the phial, and reached for it. When she had it in her grasp she drunk it, not even examining to see if it were some other kind of poison or not. "Thank you, Fotheringown." She gave him a nod as a mark of thanks and also acknowledgement. "You will have my aid, if ever you need it, my good sir." She smiled briefly, and turned to Ather. She started to regain some movement in her body, and was better able to hold herself up. She leaned against Ather still, but not with her full body weight. She struggled to grab something from her pocket. She finally pulled out a feather, a feather as white as snow. She looked at it, then extended her hand trying to give it to Ather. "It is a simple feather, but it will protect you. It is my thanks to you. Whether you did this act of good will or illwill, you have helped me." She just listened to her own words and in her mind finished that sentence, 'My sworn enemy.'

"Then I assume I must thank you, and I shall. Thank you Sareanna." He put the feather in his pocket and looked to this Jon Fotheringown."You are much more knowledgeable I think than I first gave you credit for. You speak with her, for I have to attend to some unfinished business with a certain three-headed dog." He gave each of them a quick nod and then gave Sareanna an extra look of contempt, and then faded into the nearby darkness which the trees had given them.

Jon nodded politely and smiled, then whirled as he registered what was being said. "Never mind him. Not even a simple thank you." He muttered, then turned back. "I have seen many a poison, but rarely in combination with such great wounds. How did you come by them?"
